Donate a Moorti (Vigraha Daan)

Donate a Moorti of Christchurch Hindu Temple. The Moortis are made of Granite Stone, Marble Stone or Pancha Lok. The Moortis are made by the Authentic Sculptors of India and they are specially made for our Temple as per Sirpa Sastra, Agama Sastra and Vastu Sastra.

All the Moortis will have their own Graba Graha or Mandap. These are built with natural materials ad these will be built by Indian Temple Builders who have specialise in ancient Hindu Architecture. We aim to bring teams of Indian Builders, Plaster Workers, Stone works, Wood Carvers from India to build this magnificent temple. This temple will last centuries to come and we want to build a remarkable temple for our Devathas to bless our future generations.- Following the sastra will ensure the power of the temple is consecrated properly and it spreads through our lands.

Five thousand dollar ($5,000)

Minimum donation for the Vigraha Daan​

Due to the cost of the Moorti and the temple, we have set a minimum contribution for the vigraha for this type of donation. This can be paid in full or in installments.

Your names will be

in the temple Garba Graha of each moorti

Your legal name will be displayed on a grand gold-plated plaque on the Garbhagriha wall, to be honored for centuries to come. 

The temple is build as per Agama Shastra, Shilpa Shastra and Vastu Shastra
